Snake in Skyrim

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 2:34 am

The Translation:
Why no in mountain Skayrim snake? After all from their poison possible much medical mixtures to do, yes and weapon by poison at necessities to process. Play become much interesting yes and realistic. Go itself between stone - but beside you on road cobra will beautifully distribute its hood and you choice: or avoid her(its) side, or enter in fighting. I was in mountain and know what is a snake. Well was if developers have added these charming dangerous snake in play.

What google translate does not do well is syntax, regardless it appears you are questioning why Skyrim does not have snakes. This engine would implode if it had to manage snakes, look no further than Fallout's scorpions.

I must confess, I thought this was going to reference the Metal Gear series.

Well, snakes used to live there, otherwise why would they be on tablets and posts in various temples and grottos?

I admit I had a hard time reading that, but really, why snakes? We already have spiders. Instead give us wraiths back.

I didn't know the number 6 was an alphabet character somewhere.

Why would the engine implode? Do you mean if it had a realistic animation with all joints? Cause snakes are in other games, though poorly animated. Not like Bethesda is expected to produce ground breaking animations.

They would get stuck, constantly. On rocks, in the ground etc... even worse than the pretty terrible scorpions in Fo3 and NV.

So did I. I thought he was going to talk about a stealth character build.

When auto-translation, without regard for grammar is done correctly, it's truly a work of art, I can't get enough of these :)

I don't like to give bad ideas. Simply mountains without snakes are unnatural also you understand, as in real life, it is possible to make many medicines of poison of snakes (potions in game), and with poison having smeared a sword to poison opponents. Once again to shudder from unexpected hissing of a snake about you, while лазиешь on rocks. Or having dived into the mountain river under water will encounter besides fishes on water snakes. Naturally all for a game sharpness. Or having learned to catch a dragon, to throw up them in premises to the opponent, to frighten or destroy. In few places in games snakes are used and I think Bethesda Softworks having realized similar ideas if only have won.

There had to be snakes at some point in Skyrim's history. There are too many of them depicted in tombs and stuff. But, maybe there was a Tamrielic equivalent of St. Patrick show up and drive them away during the past.

There should be snakes in Elsewhere. Skyrim is a little cold for snakes. It's possible- Montana has snakes, a prarrie rattler, a gartner, and a gopher snake to name the big three. OK- skyrim could have had snakes. But small snakes!

I kinda wondered about that. Their are several in the pit viper family that live in areas that snow, plus non-posionious snakes as well.

Has anyone seen a whale? part of Skyrim is coastal.

IMO it might be hard to get the graphics right on snakes, trying to keep them from "swimming" through the ground.

It seems that they just use spiders for poison. Some fantasy frost snakes would have been interesting.

Edit: There are some frosty snake-like magical creatures. I know it's not the same thing as a venomous snake. I also expect snakes in the Khajiit homeland.
