Sniper/Sneaking Build

Ok, well, since FONV now has a new perk system, I thought it'd revise the build I used for FO3 (FOWikia Bloodwars' Sniper). This is a minimum-VATS build.

STR 5 - Implant will take care of 6 STR + Weapon Handling for Anti-Materiel Rifle
PER 5 - Since Better Criticals is all the way down at LV16 (on my current playthrough I ended up with 10k caps at LV10, thanks to snowglobes) I could drop a point here and get the implant before LV16.
END 6 - Strong Back only needs 5 END, while Rad Absorption and Solar Powered needs 7 END.
CHA 3 - Played FO3 with 3 CHA till the bobblehead, I did it on my first playthrough, no problem.
INT 6 - Repair is secondary
AGI 7 - Guns and Sneak, 'nuff said
LCK 7 - Just for the boost to all skills

Tag: Guns, Repair, Sneak
Secondary: Lockpick, Medicine, Barter

LV2 - Confirmed Bachelor/Black Widow
LV4 - Comprehension
LV6 - Bloody Mess
LV8 - Strong Back
LV10 - Finesse
LV12 - Silent Running
LV14 - Sniper
LV16 - Weapon Handling
LV18 - Adamantium Skeleton
LV20 - Explorer
LV22 - Better Criticals
LV24 - Solar Powered
LV26 - Nerves of Steel
LV28 - Rad Absorption
LV30 - Miss Fortunate

Discuss.

P.S.
I'm horrible at build optimization.

Looks good to me but why 3 VAT skills, in a minimum VAT build? Sniper, Nerves of Steel and Miss Fortunate, only effect VAT mode

Heya,

I tend to prefer the sneaky/gun slinger toon, but my build approach is totally haphazard. I like to have high Agility, luck and Int. I usually play with a 3 str. I like everything else fall where it may.

Vice Repair, I tend to pick science, more out of an RP option than anything esle. Since I am playing hardcoe, for my LVL 6 and LVL 8 selections, I choose toughness.

Have you tried out the throwing knives/daggers/hatchets/spears in the game? I use em when I come across them. They are deadly in a sneak attack.

They're more for emergency situations, but I guess you're right. Any suggestions?

I thought I'd just put Ninja in those higher levels, but by that time comes, I'll have enough gun skill and a silenced weapon that it'll be hard to detect me when I shoot, let alone have a chance to detect me when they're dead. Also, the 5 STR is for the Anti-Materiel rifle. It requires 8 STR but goes down to 6 with Weapon Handling, and getting the implant late-game shouldn't be a problem, since it requires 100 gun skill anyway.
