Are there still references to snow elves ... Snow prince etc indawnguard or is something that is reserved for hearthfire ?

In one of the Interviews Todd said it was something they couldn't talk about, and from seeing the new reddish colored Falmer, I'd say one of the bigger sidequests in Dawnguard deals with the snow prince

Or.. they'll make it a dlc and not just a side quest..

Or maybe the side queast can lead to the new DLC starting different specualtion.

I think the reddish hue of the Falmer in the trailer might be a spell effect actually. There is a person behind him who seems to be casting a sort of spell, that glows bright red.

I think it is probably still in this DLC, since the patche 1.5 DLC01 files included Snow Elf stuff as well as vampires and crossbows, and the latter two have been confirmed.

Nah the snow elf prince never died...became a Vampire lord o_O

I believe his corpse may be on display if I remember correctly.

yes in Morrowind: bloodmoon however it could just as easily be a peasant he murdered and planted there

Maybe there's a quest where you track down a snow elf, and in his treasure chest you find............HORSE ARMOR!

OK, seriously - at least there is SOMETHING about snow elves, and hopefully it will lead to even more stuff that involves falmer, dwemer, and killing either or both of them.

If I remember correctly (I think from Kotaku), it is said that there is one (two?) major dungeons that don't have nothing to do with the whole Dawnguard quest and are stated to be very, very interesting. I'm guessing, at least one is related to the Snow Elf Prince

This is true.

The Snow Elf Prince files were found in the 1.5.26 update back in april. Nothing new has been found since afaik. It seemed to be little more than a conversation with a few different dialogue options. There were no files at all for snow elves or falmer in general by the way, all files were for a "SnowElfPrince".

That someone came in here and said he's a vampire lord was to be expected of course, but I hope Bethesda won't do that. I mean you vampires have your dlc, you have what you wanted, a perk tree and minions, lots of new powers and a nice fortress to call your own, so please, leave something for the rest of us. Not everyone here is a vampire fan and not every single character has to be a vampire these days to be cool, and mysterious. There is no need to pull the vampire card on us again when there is so much else they could do with this.
