Snowglobe Hunting Anyone?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 5:08 am

If anyone doesnt know, Snowglobes are FONV Bobbleheads... like in FO3. I think they will have a caption of the skill (ex: Strength) inside or a Vault-Tec thing inside. I cant wait to find all those snowglobes!!! Bring it ON!!!

I don't think they give anything but the achievement if you get them all.

The Snowglobes don't have the same bonuses as the Bobbleheads, but there is supposed to be some kind of bonus for finding them. I have a feeling that I'm going to skip over a bunch of globes without even realizing it the first time around. Still, it's nice that there's a collectible item out there in the wasteland.

Great. But they don't boost your stats. They give you other bonuses.

I wonder if they will provide a permanent positive effect, or if you have to click on them to shake them up each time you want to enable one?

Seems pointless beside having an achievement to try finding them all.

Only reason to collect collectibles is for some form of reward.
I'm glad that it isn't skill or SPECIAL boost but if there ain't a reward good enough the only reason I'd hunt for them is for the achievement and because there is a guide at the wikia.

I wonder what they'll be of though.
Vault Boy was really overused in fallout 3.

My guess is that they are going to provide some sort of item bonus, or possibly different bonuses. Maybe could reset casinos that you broke, or reset faction status to nuetral. I'm gambling on item bonuses though. Plus, they are collectibles.

Anyone have any idea what kind of bonus it'll be? These deva just love being vague. Hopefully they'll give you a perk or something.

I wonder how small they are.
The bobbleheads one could miss very easily.

You have found all the snow globes and you have learned to mimic their prettiness. Enemies will be mesmerized by you and be less inclined to shoot you. As opposed to tying you up and putting you on a pedestal, looking at you all day long, violently shaking you every five minutes

True.
Only game I ever tried to get all collectibles on was Naruto: The Broken Bond but that was because all the gold coins shows up on the compass when you're near them after you complete the game.

I won't. Ruins the fun. It took me ages to find all the bobbleheads, especially since I missed the one in the vault on my main playthrough.
