The game looks really amazing even in October of last year. I will be expecting every bug to have been found waiting this long for the release. By the way any vids old or new nice to see.

Bohemian Rhapsody is always the center of attention, it simply can't be competed with. I had to watch this video a few times before actually noticing what's in the footage.

Did anyone else just notice the insane FOV (compared to what CoD set as teh nu standarz)? I wonder if this was owed to a PC version played with gamepads ...

Field of View.

To elaborate on this a little: In old-school PC shooters the FOV was freely adjustable. People would be playing Quake with a FOV of up to 180°.
In the more recent time console shooters (and CoD especially) have massivey reduced the FOV (CoD has 65°, if I'm not mistaken), because it would give console-players a more natural feel when they sit far away from the screen.

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/1692/modernwarfare2fovtuning.jpg is a comparison of the standard FOV in CoD and an increased one.

Now in old games the weapon would actually move towards the center when increasing the FOV. Oddly, it doesn't in CoD which makes it look a little weird.

What. The. Heck.
I never knew there was anything other than 90. Every FPS Ive played only went up to 90.
And I hadn't noticed, actually. But I do see it now.

90° Is the standard for Quake.

And technically 180 would not be possible, if ... http://strlen.com/gfxengine/fisheyequake/compare.html for the win! ;)
