Also, I just want to rant a little about the noob killer aspect of this game. A new player cannot do very much in the way of using skills at all. You want to barter? Well all the barters in the game are at 50. You have to be lvl 7-9 to do that unless you specialize in a single talent. You want to talk your way out of something? Well that's 50 too. Got to pick a lock? Well now! That's anywhere between 50, 75, and 100. Wow. A new player (everyone) doesn't have a chance. It erks me that they did this! Hey guys! Try turning it down a notch. If I was in a group with a GM doing this, I'd be ticked off.
Finally, the story is a bit weak. If this story were a liquor, it'd get you as drunk as water. I mean, yeah, I got shot (in the head, no less) and the package was stolen from me. I didn't die, so, I'm good, right? This is a wasteland in the middle of a dessert. What do I care if they made off with the platinum chip!? THEY SHOT ME IN THE HEAD AND I LIVED. I don't really care about going after them. Even the character's reaction and the NPC's reaction were ho-hum. Geeze. Why couldn't the story be better!? Even in FO3, bringing water back to a drinkable state was something my character could get behind. Oh and I haven't gotten that far into the game so I don't know the ending (let me repeat--I DO NOT KNOW THE ENDING AND AM JUST GUESSING HERE) but I am willing to bet a platinum chip that the Mr. House guy is actually that victor robot or at least an avatar he uses. Maybe when I get into it, it may get better but for right now I'm stuck asking, "So what!?" and "Who Cares?"
Eh. It has issues and patches will make their way around in time but it's still an enjoyable game and I thank you for making it. I just wish you'd taken a little bit more time than you did on it.
