Some questionsglitches

So i got a couple of questions and/or glitches I wanted to ask about. They're really messing up the game for me.

1.Companions quest line problem-So I was going through the companions quest line and got to the part where you have to help kodlak cure his lycanthropy by retrieving some witch heads. I went to get the witch heads for him, came back and some silverhand attacked, killing kodlak (I knew this was going to happen cuz my brother ruined the surprise for me). So I go on in to talk to Vilkas and he asks what I was doing. I told him "I was out doing Kodlaks bidding." And he just walks away from me. It says "Completed blood's honor" but I don't get another quest from him. I've waited weeks for him to speak to me but he won't. Help plz...

2.Fighting animations problem-I play alot of 3rd person instead of 1st but whenever I do a finisher (goes into a lil animation) my game goes back to 1st person. This doesn't affect the game much but i like to watch my dude look all awesome in 3rd person. This just started to happen as well.

3.Quest problems-Some of my quests won't start/finish when I try to start them and/or complete them. It's really annoying cuz some quests you get awesome weapons or armor but I can't start/finish them, preventing me from getting the weapons or armor and playing the game properly.

4.Armor question-So I made a archer class character and I wanted her to look like a hunter. I'm wearing the hide armor with some leather pieces as well but I can't upgrade my hide armor. I have it at superior I think and my smithing was at lvl 30. So last night I went to upgrade it and I thought my smithing was to low of a lvl to upgrade it further. I got my smithing to lvl 60 but still can't upgrade it. It's doesn't have an enchantment on it either. Is there a perk I need or something wrong with my armor?

4) Because there is no perk asscociated with leather/hide armor, it takes more smithing skill to unlock a given level of improvement. If you want a hunter, consider scale armor which looks mostly leathery, but has an associated perk. To get hide armor to legendary requires a smithing skill of nearly 200 (requires pots/enchants, obviously). To improve a perked armor piece to legendary level only requires 91 smithing.
