Some things I would like to see put into Skyrim!

Hi people,

Me and my bro are big Elder Scrolls fans, I played in order:

Morrowind - 350 hours.
Oblivion - 260.
Skyrim - 150 hours so far.

I would have played Arena and Daggerfall but in all honesty I was too young. Anyway back to the point, my bro and I were discussing what needs to be added to Skyrim. List follows:

Repairing gear - I miss this, although mundane it does make sure you keep your gear in check.
A breath meter - I think its a bit daft that you can't see when you're going to start drowning.
Crafting Arrows - I honestly don't know why this is missing but there you go.
Dragon bone and scale weapons - Need I say more.
A system where by donating money to a Jarl of a city will increase the wealth of the shops in that city, also if you bring rare commodities to a shop that they need it will be worth more than normal.

I bit of a subtraction:

Get rid of Fast Travel - I honestly think that this ruins the immersion of the game sometimes and I end up being lazy. On my second toon I have forbid myself from FTing anywhere. The carriages are more than enough to get from city to city and then just walk or ride from there.

That's all I've got so far but please let me know what you guys think below :)

Well, we will be getting a whole bunch of new features with dawnguard shortly. Maybe some of your suggestions will come with the DLC.

Have you seen the trailer yet?

I would agree with all of the above except repairing gear i always found that irritating.I would also like to able to purchase more buildings and be able to have children.

Everything except the donation of money. You can already do that with speechcraft if u get the skill high enough.

It should be brought back but not in the old state. Weapons should decay much slower. You should be able to still smith them to legendary status (say 150%) and they should decay back down to being nearly broken (10%) or broken. They should only be able to be repaired at a grinding stone or similar object or you could pay someone to do it.

I think that it would be really cool if you could use a grindstone not just to permanently increase the quality of your weapons, but also to give it just a temporary damage bonus (5% to 10% area for maybe 5 hours) at the cost of an ingot, then make permanent quality increases two or three ingots. Perhaps could relate to armor as well?
Think of it like the temporary experience increase you get from sleeping in a bed.

I wouldn't mind weapon armor degeneration if it didn't bring weapon DAM below its base DAM. So that way if it is something you do not want to keep up with it will not gimp you but if you do use it you can make your weapons and armor do max damage. I just don't want to in the middle of a battle or traveling and having to constantly think my main source of offense/defense is about to breakdown on me.
