I have three questions regarding NV updates.

1.a Which patch version is the correct one? I've heard that (at least, v 1.1) one can kill saves, and they might not even be recoverable after it is reverted and a better fix is applied. 1.b Should I backup my saves first? Or will updating again to a newer version makes the saves work again?

2. Where can I download the patch(es)?

3. Does the latest non-destructive patch fix the crash when exiting to the strip bug? ATM, the game isn't playable as my latest save crashes whenever I exit to the strip.

come on, it's been over a week. I really want to update my game.

As for the exit to strip bug, I got lucky and happened to have an old cowboy hat in my inventory. I don't know why it never happened before, as I don't usually wear it, but wearing it now suddenly temporarily lets me use the strip.

There are several other bugs taht are still very annoying, like inventory items randomly going missing. I just noticed my rebreather is missing, and I'm going to have to find the last save where I had it, and hope it wasn't long ago.

So, again, which patch version do I need and where can I download it?
