Something coming this month or not?

Thought Bethesda was going to announce something in April about Rage and Skyrim.

And... ?

I want some more content for Rage. I really enjoy the game, but it's so short and there just isn't that much content in the game. The sewer missions were a joke, glad I didn't pay extra for them.

I think it's going to be the level editor. It will come out on the last possible day. That's my guess anyways.

The level editor will just be on PC.

I hope there is DLC on the way. I really do.

I'm going to gamble on editor, a decent patch and new DLC (fee small, big paid).

Then a total bailout.

Yeah it's using about 25 Gig of my 120 G SSD. If we don't see something soon it's gone. I have other games that need the fast drive..

Skyrim players got there news already, KINECT voice commands and still a DLC coming. What about us lowly RAGE fans waiting patiently for any info about our game. At this point I would be happy with a new bauble head placed on a desk somewhere in Sub Way Town.

Consoles don't have the firepower nor resources to run these tools and editors.

Something inside of me is saying I've waited this whole time, these almost 6 agonizing months... for news on the pc due to how thats where this frustrating game was the worst, or some kind of random kinect feature that nobody real gives 2 [censored] about. And if this does happen, and that is simply the news... then I'm going to personally send this game back to ID with a nice fat poo, all melted and smeared inside of it. Because honestly that's how I feel about this whole thing. All the posts asking and begging and debating dlc that everyone has posted... ugh. This game needs better and more open people to share with the consumer instead of flaunting on twitter about how important fan views and opinions are, when clearly they're not and they havent been. "Oh 5 months later and late we're gonna come out and announce...more waiting" THATS THE BEST YOU CAN DO? REALLY? And even if the dlc comes out and everything is fine and dandy in game land, I'm not going to foget for a minute how this whole process has been nothing but [censored] and RAGE. You guys svck. Oh and by the way... [censored] DOOM IV. And sorry if my language offends... but I'm tired of holding it in.

LMFAO xD
That's what I mentioned before. People butthurt making that remark, and no no need to apologize I'm pretty sure the guys at id also laugh like hell when they read these things.

RAGE news isn't far off. The team is still finalizing the 64bit exe and level editor, and hoping to have more to share soon after.

Awesome, cheers for the heads up.

No that's all PC stuff.

The "more to share soon after" doesn't sound platform specific.

No the more to share soon after would more than likely be DLC, and the community backlash if it were just PC would make the hate towards this game look trivial. Don't worry, they will release DLC for console more than likely. Can't claim this as a fact, but it amkes a great deal of sense.

Hey Vynzent... butthurt these. The DOOM series is old news. Period. Just like the Duke Nukem series. I got played out on that crap a long time ago. RAGE was this fresh new thing. And even if it was just a bypass for another DOOM garbage wait... finding love for RAGE doesnt make me butthurt of undermine my comments in the least bit. Just like you being a [censored] in the forums doesnt make you any cooler in real life. Nerd.

It shouldn't be hard to understand. Words from a random nobody don't really do much to anyone :P
And yeah, you really do sound butthurt. You can prove it by throwing more insults if you like, lol

I'm no expert but I think people with a 64bit OS will see a small performance increase due to larger amounts of data being able to be shifted around, and systems with more than 4GB of RAM having it utilised. I could be completely wrong, but that is how I understand it anyway. I'm sure someone else could explain it better.
