Oh, I didn't get the memo that you represent the entire collection of users on this forum. You know, if nobody cares then nobody will post, so isn't it better to just let things run by themselves rather than make rude comments? Last I checked, the amount of interest in a topic is determined by the amount of relevant posts about it, not by what a single user says in the fifth post. I do hope you aren't as disgraceful a person in real life as you portray yourself on these forums.

To actually add something to this discussion, I hadn't even noticed this before. But the "not-in-game armor" looks much better than what we have now, in my opinion. I guess they just made some last minute design changes or something.

I also don't like the shade of red in the current version. I think the brownish color looked better.

TBH with the cloth and belt it looks more like it did in OB which was much better

SO.. to bring things back on track.. the main thing i noticed about the DB armor which annoyed me is that the face-mask'y type thing never seemed to be there.

and the hood on the Ancient DB armor was non-existant

It is like the Shrouded stuff was the last set they worked on and they were tired and just skipped it

Personally I don't care much (I've never been one to play stealthy rogue characters) but this is a legitimate aesthetic flaw.

Also, if you don't care then why read or post in this topic? If it's not an issue you care about then your input is of no value.

Well i suspect it's just a bug or something, well the slight design changes are probably just design changes, i am most disspaointed that no patches fixed it.
Although the bug with the Ancient set did let me wear my dragon scale helmet at the same time as the Ancient hood.. so got all the matching armor set bonuses plus the extra armor and enchantment from another helmet

To OP, it is a promotional thing, and the loading screen is most likely intended to be a better unobtainable version of the armor. Don't ask why, it is Beth logic, it is not supposed to make sense, or be fair to the player.

Actually, I've always worn the shrouded robes and cowl (on the playthroughs where I didn't wipe out the DB anyway), plus the fingerless gloves, never really liked the look of the leather armour as it's a bit to S&M-ish for my tastes (that and robes generally always look cooler, if it were possible to have a Dragonscale Robe in-game I would be doing that right now).

Dark Brotherhood armour makes you look like your wearing a gimp suit. I just wear the robes.

I'm more annoyed that the shrouded armor has no enchantment that makes it SHROUDED (stealth buff) at all. Really, poison resistance? There's like two creatures that can posion you, both of which are so slow they can be avoided/de-aggroed/killed before they're even in melee range.

Even more useless if you are an argonian, lycan, or vamp
