In my opinion this perfectly suits the game; in fact, I am almost stunned it wasn't included in Fallout 3. It suits New Vegas even more, because it references the 'West'.
And it suits the series simply because it features a man singing about he needs wide, open spaces to roam around (i.e the Fallout games and free roaming games in general).

Oh, and there is Bing Crosby's incrediable talent.

im assuming that there will be more variety to the songs in new vegas. what songs would you like to see in new vegas.

ps. please pick songs from no later then mid 60s. and no beatles.

My song-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PanCW9DGyEQ&feature=related

i think it fits the gloomy mood of the game while remaining easy to listen to and even grow to like.

I said this for Fallout 3, and I'll say it again: the Stubbs the Zombie soundtrack would be perfect for these games. http://www.amazon.com/Stubbs-The-Zombie-Soundtrack/dp/B0013DCBIM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1278622015&sr=8-2

How does that make sense? They have super 'futuristic' stuff, so they should have more modern music? You cant 'technologically advance' music... Its the style of that time, which was retro 50's. The lifestyle formed the music, which ended up with that 40-60's music sound...

actually, you can technologically advance music... for example guitar + technology = facemelt and some [censored] screaming his head off

"Lets Misbehave" by Cole Porter, because of a funny scene from Desperate Housewives that plays in my head every time I hear it.
