I was looking all over the Internet, but I just can't find where I can access the Creation Kit!
I'm using PC, of course, and updated Skyrim, presumably to 1.4, when I downloaded the
High Resolution DLC. Where can I find the Creation Kit? Sorry if the answer is obvious.

no need to apologize, only [censored]s would flame you for that. It's under the tools tab in steam. It's called Creation Kit... not skyrim creation kit or anything.

Yep, it's not totally obvious at first. I was expecting a sticky topic that clearly gave the instructions, instead, track down the blog, read through to find the right link, visit that, see that it's via steam steam download, and then get really annoyed that you have to launch it through steam (gahh!)

I haven't tried this since I'm on my laptop but isn't it possible to launch the CK directly using the creation.exe file in the Skyrim directory?

Just tried, and it fires up steam automatically.
