I haven't played much with followers until recently. Today, I have been giving Lydia about half of my empty soul gems and equipping her with a soul trap enchanted weapon. She collects souls time to time. Not too often. A few here a few there.

Sometimes we get separated, like when I decide to jump down from a mountain, and lose her for a few minutes. When she catches up with me, all of the soul gems in her inventory are suddenly filled up. I'm talking about 50 soul gems here. This kind of thing happened to me 3 times.

Has anyone else notice this?

[Edit] I googled it and looks like there is some sort of follower soul gem glitch. perhaps separation is not necessary.
