I killed a Blood Dragon in the Eastmarch and I didn't asborb a soul. Is this another one of those annoying glitches that Skyrim seems to be plagued with.

No it is not a glitch, not all Dragons give up souls.

Don't worry, you will get your 60 souls soon enough, the game throws plenty of dragons at you. About 10 or so of the dragons I have fought were soulless and I have over 70 souls and still have not found all the Shouts.

Had the same thing happening in Falkreath. No need to cry about it, there more than plenty of dragons to kill.

No, not a bug. You must have killed it earlier and all you killed now was another spawn.

Do not ask me why, but it does not make quite sense with the role of the dragonborn, who is supposedly the only one who can get rid of them by absorbing its soul. No idea why they keep coming back, but it is intentional.

I've run into this a couple times and every time it was at a place that either was quest related and I had not yet done the quest or the Radiant quest system sent me back to a place that I had already been and killed a dragon.

Tried to do that with out spoiler's so I hope it makes sense.

Freaked me out the first time it happened, but it's happened a few times since then and it's no big deal. My main character has unlocked all the Shouts (still have to find a few Words to get them all to full strength), and has a surplus of about 25 souls. There's no shortage of dragons to kill.

I'm guessing it was a respawn then, as it was near Bonestrewn Crest. Nice to know it's normal and not a glitch.

Yes static respawns like ones from certain places like that only give the soul once.

More than likely a respawn they're very annoying
