The PIP-BOY . I was getting the normal sounds;but,recently when I load the game for play....there are NO sounds when I'm into the Pip-Boy,the normal clicks and whatever. I have re-validated the game(re-installing doesn't help) . The ERROR that keeps coming up after re-install is:"1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired." Which,after this statement----nothing happens?!?! I have uninstalled this,then re-installed it...that doesn't fix the problem.
Can someone here please help me???

P.S.: I have the most current updates for sound and audio for my system.

i just received this same problem as well. no footstep sounds, no pipboy sounds, no sounds when going into vats, etc. i do get sounds for bullets firing, dialogue and music. weird that it just happened like this. btw, i'm just passed Primm in the game when this happened.

I sure someone comes "forward", with an actual "fix" to this "ongoing problem... Soon......

Bizarre. The same thing happened to me also. Today only, as well. Before now it was fine. There are no menu sounds either, so you can tell if it hasn't worked without waiting to load a game.

They talked of an incremental patch "early" this week. Has it been released without any official mention? Did it introduce this bug?

EDIT: Oh wait my headphones weren't in properly, how embarrassing.

Only--- Bethesda....knows for sure... I just "wish" they would actually fix this issue, which apparently is "WIDE" spread.....
