Spawning

Ok because the game has an end why do things have to spawn ? I understood the limited spawning in FO3 But New Vegas has an end so why do we need Spawning ?

So that the game world doesn't totally depopulate. Though Freeside needs to be toned down.

Why would depopulating be bad ? If you kill everyone then shouldn't they stay dead ? This is not an open ended game so why can't it be no re spawning . I am tired of going to the same place and killing the same bugs over and over I wish stuff would stay dead. Wouldn't it be in the free roam spirit of Fallout to allow you to wipe out hole towns ?

While I am talking about town how do you " raise a town to the ground " ? I

Since you said spawning, I want to say something I complain about alot. Whoever made those generic spawning 'Freeside Thugs' should be slapped in the face. I don't give a damn about 'immersion' when their corpses are marked persistent, it just becomes annoying.

Some of us find killing respawns, using different weapons or methods, a lot of fun...and because I can. An empty world would be a dull world. I still wish more deathclaws respawned....

Bodies always disappear in a couple days or so for me. Ash/good piles do not, tho. Another reason not to like energy weapons as they are.
What I find annoying is that Kings messenger who constantly runs up to you...I feel like he's there in my face, suddenly, every few minutes. He must be glitchy.

My pile of Freeside thug doesn't disappear until I made another two characters and try 3 other mods and decide to dump them because vanilla is still tasty.

I'm with you here. It'd be a real shame if the game was, from start to finish, just more and more desolate. I do think some random spawns would be lovely though.

I fixed that by beating that loud mouth Pacer to death with a golf club. The Kings suddenly stopped giving me gifts. :D

So.......I take it "vurnt" and "illeterite" are cultured terms. :D

Yes, some random spawns would be great. After a while it's a bit banol knowing that on this one particular dirt mound between these two trees, a goul shall appear three days hence. I realize with the game design that you can't have random spawns everywhere, but there are some wide open areas that could have them. Not knowing whether this time you'll encounter bandits or deathclaws as you crest a hilltop...I'd like that. :)

Most likely Bethesda has planned a DLC that continues the Fallout:NV world, and thus the need for spawning enemies. Its basically what they did with Fallout3, the game ended in the beginning, then they released Broken Steel which allowed the continuation of the Fallout3 world.

Some of us don't end the game. I like returning to areas for... weapons testing purposes, or just to start a fight. Sometimes I need to return to Black Mountain in order to obtain certain weapons to repair my own, or just to acquire loot to make more caps. There are so many reasons why I return to places that I've already cleared out. The game world would be incredibly boring without respawns.
