Does anybody else find it funny when the Spectrail Assassin says something epic, like "The Dread Father works through me, and his work has just begun," at the most random momments when you are least expecting it.

Yes, I kill him after when I want to be my myself in an epic part of the storyline. But he and Cicero make a good fighting pair. I tried to run outta dawnstar, and they took down the whole hold with ltitle help from me.

I agree Spectrail Assassin is annoying, and very weak too. I don't have to kill him... he kills himself for being so dreadfully weak. I rather depend on someone like Cicero then the Spectrail Assassin.

He says quest related things about whatever DB quest your on aswell.

When my Dunmer Mage gets into a fight; Lucien, a Dremora Lord, and Faendal firing arrows from distance with me liberally using Chain Lightning = nothing touches the Mage. Hell, just the three of them alone will take out whole nests of Forsworn. The only one I really have to help them with are the Briarhearts.

But ever since I earned the ability to summon him, Lucien Lachance has been an integral part of my arsenal. He's also valuable because he is an early game (relatively) summon that doesn't have a timer. He hangs around until killed.

Lucien = good.

Pity traps are able to kill him so easily...TRAPS FFS! TRAPS!

Lucien svcks cos traps can kill him so easily in dungeons, normally around 10 seconds after I summon him...waste of time...

I liked him until he said I would one day be doing his job - that is possibly, maybe one day assisting some DB lackey killing random bandits. So much for Sovngarde.
