Is it different in this game compared to FO3? Even when im 18/20 for speech success it is always fail, not matter how much i reload the game. Is anyone else having this?

Instead of having a chance to do it, in order to pass the check, you must have the required speech skill that it says.

Way better, in my opinion, and makes a lot more sense.

Ok i thought that was the case. I agree it is better it makes it more worth getting the barter/speech skill in New Vegas. Kind of wish i had realized this before i couldn't respec again lol sigh.
