Side question: When you join the companions and fight in the back my NPC partner keeps killing everyone. Now she is gone and I can't find her....Did she break up with me? she has all my stuff!! How do I find her? ( I am going to kill her.)

I found it in a museum and it came with a robot spider but then it died...is it useless now?

About the staff... I'm not sure.
As for your follower, she'll pop back up... eventually. I had the same problems fo awhile.
