Ok spoiler in title, can u get the perk from Paar after the game and then kill him for the blades OR do u have to kill him during the main quest when Delpie demands u to? And if u are able to kill him after u get perk, everythign still work fine for the blades and do u still keep the perk from Paar even though hes dead?

I do not think killing Paar is so smart either.
Curious point here, Talos (Tiber Septim) refused to kill him too apparently, so where does Delphine come off thinking he should be killed?

im with yal on that, its just that im curious that soemone i think in the past stated that to go ahead and get all the stiuff fromt he greybeards and i think the perk from Paar and then ya can kill himand get the stuff from the blades. If i kill him itd be due to a RP standpoint but wondering if canget perk frist..

perk from Paarthurnax? do you mean the buff for meditating on the meaning of a word? or did I miss something?

at any point after you're told by the Blades to kill Paarthurnax you can kill him when he's at the throat of the world, I haven't been back up there since having the talk with him that he's leaving to see if he can recruit others... so I haven't had an opportunity to change words since then anyway.

The issue is that once you have done this the Graybeards will not ever help you again and you have the joy of rebuilding the Blades, but only really as Delphine and Esbern see fit.

Tough one for the guy who is supposed to be in charge of the Blades and has learned only wisdom and encouragement from the dragon in question, huh?

Yeah screw Delphine. Haven't liked her at all in this game. Cocky b**ch, if you ask me. Bethesda needs to release a patch or DLC or something, SOMETHING, so we can have the choice to turn on her and rip her heart out.

She's unkillable, and she needs to die.

trust me, 220 hours into the game and i have yet to beat the MQ because of the ultimantum that [censored] gave me. I cannot see the reason why i have to ill Paar BUT its ok that i keep the dragon i flew on and call all the time....

HAHA! I'd like the dialouge option to be when Delphine says "he has to die", I want your reply to be "No Delphine, you have to die".

Id be extremely happy if someone who modded could change that quest to soemthing like....when u get back to the lair, have amodder creat a "blade" charector maybe like a bigshot or high rank and when she gives us the ultimatum..have him go all ape[censored] on her call her down and such and then tell HER to go kill Paar. The quest removes her "essential" tag and u can follow her up to Paar. And when u get to Paar u can choose to help her and slay Paar...then FUS RO DAH! off the mountain or just sit back and let her get wtfpwned by Paar. U can basically have it to where if u didnt fight u stilll on good terms with paar and u get to go back to the lair and have a COMPETENT blade member who remembers his job and duty and isnt confused into thinking that hes a 'dragonguard"...but a freaking blade..




but alas...reason why i was wondering was from a RP standpoint if i should ever go that route, was wondering if u could get the mediation and then kill him and keep the mediation.
