Spoiler: Question about the last book

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 6:42 pm

When you take your perk points away from the skill trees, does it push that perk tree back to zero?

example: i have smithing perked out, if i take the perks away, does it mean i cannot smith higher armors and not increase their armor values?

or, do you have that maxed out, perks gone, and you can now max out another perk tree?

You just gain all the perk points back from that tree, you don't lose your skill.. you can add/take points away infinitely

If your at a level of 100 in smithing and you have the entire tree perked out the perk respec will remove all the perks in the smithing tree but you will remain at level 100 in smithing. All it does is remove the perks in any perk tree not your skill level.

You can re-add perks to a skill tree that you cleared though, so the abilities are not necessarily lost forever.
