Just before I was fighting a spriggan, I killed it (just ) and had barely any health left, started to walk off and then the spriggans poison effect or whatever it had done to me killed me within 5 steps, I was just staring at the screen thinking, well, wow.

Anyone else fell victim to an already dead opponent?

I also had a Follower drop dead like this as well. We`d just killed a few enemies and were standing there when suddenly my Follower dropped dead!

Yeah, a dead dragon ate me once. I landed the killing blow, but before it noticed it died, it did the finishing move on me, finished it, and then died

Not with Spriggans, but for the life of me when will I remember to stand back after a Flame Atronarch has been killed? The amount of times I've had to heal myself and Kharjo after rushing for the Fire Salts only to get blown up!

I think I had that happen once, with a dragon.
Still doesn't beat dead chickens reporting crimes.

It happened once in a special situation for me. I was fighting against a boss enemy at the end of a dungeon. I was using my 2 H weapon and killed him with a strike( my health was very low) and - just at the same time I was killing him - he hit me with his last power and we both died at the same time.

That sounds pretty epic.

Sounds like the end to Kill Bill, and yes I've fallen to Spriggan's before but it was the bear that got me not the poison after I started to walk away.

Try dieing twice in one battle and surviving! Me and Kharjo went on a dragon hunt and it just so happened to be a spot with a dragon priest,anyway, I sent Kharjo ahead to distract the dragon so I could take it's flank.Everything was goen to plan till I got with in feet of the dragon, it turned and faced me then started the instant kill animation. I guess my thumbs were on crack that night cause I managed to get in to my inventor just as it opened it's mouth to bite down, I downed a super fortify health and a super restore health potion.Returned to the game and the dragon finished me off, it shook me and then flung me accross the top of the mountian, I ended up in a pile of rocks did the whole death animation but then stood back up,shooked it off and by that time Kharjo had killed the dragon. Now the priest is waken up so I rush em to save Kharjo but I get hit with a lightning bolt and get sent back to the same spot the dragon sent me.Once again I go through the death animation but I just shake it off and with 1/4 of my health left I manage to pump 2 arrows into the priest's chest just as Kharjo turns and hacks away at em, VICTORY!!!!!!!! And from that point on my Khajiit Tharkun has been mortally disfigured ( face badly burned and most of his muzzle has been removed) and is now forced to wear that dragon priest mask as a reminder of his arrogance.

Yups. Received my final blow from the boss enemy during Azura's quest, at the exact moment I gave him his. Azura started her speech already. >_< I cursed hard, especially considering the "environment" you're in.

I've killed a mage then got hit by his Ice Spike before (killed him with an arrow) but luckily it didn't kill me.

Cazadors are a real pain the rear, but nothing a few well placed rounds from my Combat Shotgun can't handle. Just wait until they're getting really close and BAM!! Cazador stew.

Don't think I've ever been killed after killing an enemy, at least in Skyrim. I probably will, though, when I start playing with the HUD off and can't see my health bar.
