Stack Five (5!) Enchantable Helmets & Two (2) Rings

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:46 am

Hello my name is V0L471L3.

I apologize if this is not the place to post this, or if this is frowned upon or not permitted here.

I discovered, through a lot of trial and error, what I believe to be one of the coolest glitches in Skyrim several weeks ago; and I made a video of it on You Tube -

Skyrim HVG #3 - Stack Five (5!) Enchantable Helmets & Two (2) Rings

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdkI1OiwLac

Please take a look at it, then try it out on your character or your own Khajiit.

Thanks.

Instead of asking people to search for the topic, why not post a link?

Never mind, apparently links are not allowed? News to me. Is there just a way to equip two rings without the alchemy enchants?

In my testing, it seems like the answer to your question is "No." The Two Ring Stacking Glitch does not seem to work until after you do the 5 Helmet Stacking Glitch at least once on your character; at least the way that I found how to do it.

Links are allowed, unless you are a relatively new member with no or minimal posts. We were getting too many spambots, so we had to take measures to curtail it. Sorry OP. You should be able to add links in a few days, or someone else who looked it up and put them in a post.

I totally understand. No need to apologize. I am just trying to share what I discovered with everyone. :)

Great video, although truth be told, it's much easier going to the trouble of glitching fortify restoration potions to achieve boosts like that (and boosts infinitely higher).

Thank you. The boosts with resto are just ridiculous, and totally game-breaking. That's not what I was going for here. I wanted to show how you can gain 6 extra enchants, just six, to make your character more flexible.

No point walking around all invincible, like when using the resto loop glitch. These two glitches I found allow you to decide whether you use that Lord Stone or not, whether you spend those limited points on Perks or not. With this you don't have to. That was my intent, free people from having to use points on perks, or be ball-and-chained to a particular stone.

Looking forward to them. Will keep an eye out.

Next video is up. I show how to make a record breaking poison worth 15,654 using my glitch from HVG #3. This poison does over 13,000 damage; more than doubling previous bests for damage and value.

Best Legit Potion/Poison New Record 15,654! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpJJ2lQVCXM

Take a look.

Thanks.

Perhaps I'm unusual, but I hate having to watch video to learn something. Could you post text instructions?

WHy not watch the video, then take notes, then post that for another person "like yourself."

Have to agree that the restoration glitch is useful for things like carry weight, but it makes most other stats ridiculously OP. The stacking in this video is a great find. Thanks for sharing.

lol what? Why wouldn't you want to watch someone doing something. Isn't that a lot easier than reading about how to do something.

I agree dagoth_jeff. Watch the video and take notes, then read them back to yourself if you're that weird about it.

I don't watch vids like that either.... every vid I watch costs me more of my all too precious and rapidly diminishing download bandwidth (I don't have "real" broadband, and my limit on dl is 12 gb on a rolling 30 day period).

And even if I did have unlimited bw available, I have a hard time learning from a video - I prefer written instructions. No reason for that at all with this sort of thing, I wouldn't do it in any case (and there are written instructions out there) - but GOOD written docs for the CK would be invaluable to me. Oh well.... I'm a dinosaur, I know it, and I don't really plan to change.

Thanks for suggesting this. I was THINKING about writing out instructions, but it would be really difficult for a video that is over 10 mins long, and has several things that can go wrong that would prevent the glitch from working.

There are no written instructions for these two glitches. They are new, never before discovered glitches. If I have some time this week, probably not likely with that other role-playing game (did not think appropriate to mention it by name here; lol) coming out, but I will try my best to write it out.

How did you get the Worn Shrouded Cowl to show up in your inventory? When I pick it up, its only trace is the change in my carry capacity.

I replied to your comment on the video regarding this. A disappearing Worn Shrouded Cowl, AND Ancient Shrouded Cowl (when equipped) is EXACTLY what you want.

Is that what you are referring to; that they disappear when you equip them?
