Stacking and Vendor Glitch *contains mild spoilers*

Hey, i'm a big fan of fallout 3, and played it for an embarrassing amount of hours ( :fallout: ) and still love it to date.
I pre-ordered new vegas and got it on the day it came out, so i have seen all the glitches, and seen all of the fixes so far.
New vegas is an awesome sequel, i disagree with most reviews i have read, i like it how it is familiar, and it makes it feel like fallout new vegas links in with 3, as there hasn't been a sudden change in graphics, so it still feels like the same world. Lots of new features have been added and the game generally runs well, and allows me to be a common thief, just as i like it. One glitch that shouldn't really bother me, but really does, occurs regularly and much to my irritation with all items that have condition.

I play on an original xbox 360 (post overheat problem) and i keep getting items that are the same value and condition, that don't stack. As i am a hoarder of armour and weapons, this makes my wardrobe in my house have an endless list of legion armour (the main culprit) and it takes ages to get to my slave scarfs at the bottom for example. There is also a stacking glitch, related to the bottle cap glitch at vendors (hehehe) that makes duplicate weapons. whilst this sounds great, it isn't. It means that when i sell, drop, store or collect a gun for example, the gun will be added (or removed) from wherever and appear wherever else, but if i go back into the wardrobe (my lovely wardrobe) the gun is still there. The same problem occurs if i remove all items (press X) in the wardrobe, and then go back into it (automatically closes wardrobe) all my legion armour (curse the legion) is still there, with full condition on all of them, whilst me still having the legion armour in my inventory with varying conditions. this glitch can be used to get infinite caps at vendors, as you buy the lesser condition of two identical guns and you get a duplicated full condition one in your inventory. selling back, i can earn about 4000 caps a second (until vendor runs out of caps) doing this glitch.
This is a very annoying glitch, and even the shop glitch bit should really be patched (i'm going to be killed for saying that)

Im sorry if that is a load of gibberish, but i'm sure it isn't an exclusive pre-order glitch just for me, so i guess you know about this already. Im also having trouble with secret inventories becoming available. The ones i mainly noticed were mr holdout by gomorrah and contreras at camp mcgarran. i passed the sneak test with holdout, and no change to his shop, even after many restocks (although i am not sure about this one actually being and upgrade). I did the Contreras task selection for the unmarked quest, i received this machine, but he has no hidden stash in his shop. and not only that, he glitches when leaving the shop, trapping me in conversation and he never restocks. I am wondering if this is because i killed the NCR spy in the pawn shop, but when i reported back to Contreras, the option was to tell him i had worked out a deal, or something of the sort.

Sorry Bethesda, the game itself is great fun, and will entertain me for a successive amount of embarrassing hours, but i just feel that since you are releasing dlc on the 21 of december (or so i have heard) for us xbox fans, you should be fixing what we already have rather than throwing another potentially glitchy peice of paid software at us. if there were no glitches, then the game would be perfection in my eyes, and many others.

Also can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release an update to get rid of the wild wasteland trait at any point in the game or something, and i want the named gauss rifle, and the alien blaster isn't worth the sacrifice with so little ammo, when i play so long. although the Jimmy's well thing with rex is funny.

Hopefully you will get to read this before it gets swamped back to the darkest depths of the post listings by other eager queries.

THANK YOU FOR A F***ing awesome game that proves why Call of Duty is not worth the money we pay for it. as it is simple and rubbish. and this game is good. and complicated. in a good way. :ninja:

This thing should have been sorted in Fallout 3, so to me it seems lazy to have not addressed this issue five DLCs and a sequel later, however it is not something that cannot be easily worked around in regards to the stacking issues and in the case of infinite caps, its a single player game and if someone wishes to take advantage of this they do so at their own disadvantage of a true wasteland survival experience the way it was meant to be played. To sum up my ramble the glitch should have been addressed a long time ago, but in the end it hurts nobody but the ones who use it, and there are more immediate bugs desperately needing to be sorted out, but i realy see no excuse for Fallout (insert name) to not have this issue fixed.
