Standing on the stone sidewall of the bridge up and west of

.... that's all.
I can't do a screenshot, dammit (ps3), but I don't think a screenshot would do the 360 view justice...

This is the first time I've been here, with my 4th character....lordy.

Yep.

Another badass view is from the large tree that's felled across the river east of Hillgrund's Tomb and southeast of Valtheim Towers.

The tree-bridge is far enough from Valtheim to avoid aggro, but you have to pass it traveling from Whiterun. :P

I just went there. Pretty sweet view. I jumped off the bridge and went down the waterfall and found something sweet down there, too.

My favorite is a bluff near the exit to Darkwater Pass, where the Darkwater River falls into Eastmarch Hold.

yes you can;

--For PS3--
 • save your game looking at what you want to take a screenshot of.
 • Then, copy your file onto a USB stick
 • open ICON0.PNG on your computer.
then profit.

infact perhaps i should post this on the general forum or something.

Solitude. Standing on the bridge in the middle of town, watching the sun actually rise in the east. The graphics are incredible, especially if one of the moons is waing.

I think it's kinda' near there, but you'd be standing on a huge tree that's pretty high above the river.

It has to be better than taking a picture of the screen with a camera or a phone, right?

Edited for clarity.

I love Cliffside Retreat. Beautiful, especially on a clear day. In the distance you can see the arc of Solitude.

Should be "Direct Link" I think. I believe it's the 2nd one down of the 4 options. :P

ok html didn't work, trying img code...

[img][/img]

[img][/img]

[img][/img]

[img][/img]

[img][/img]

[img][/img]

[img][/img]

Well that's pretty icky. You can't even tell what's going on there.
Big drawback to not having a gaming PC I guess....

Here's using direct link code...

...which gives same results as img I guess...

Damn, they're small. I knew the "ICON" part meant they weren't gonna' be huge, but I thought they might be a little larger. :(

THX has a screenshot system for console games for Saint's Row 3 so it's possible and hopefully other game companies are working on something similar.

Edit:
Ok back to looking for this!
If you start at Hillgrund's Tomb and walk east towards the river it won't be much of a hike north or south. There's usu a bandit sitting/standing on the tree-bridge so if you get too close you should hear taunting. :P

unfortunately that's what I mean before...
There was a thread for adding a screenshot capture to consoles, we can try to support it...

There now... holy moly.
And I found what she was guarding, too... ;-)

It would have been a lovely walk from the tomb on a beautiful sunny day, if not for the old orc wanting assisted suicide, and the 2 sabre cats...and then the bandit...
Totally worth it though, what a view. I have to see what's way on top there.

Hi,
Just a tip, if you click on the "link" button in the post toolbar thing, and then once you've done your link, click on the little switch picture on the top left, you can change the link link descriptor so you can put a title, or what have you, like this:
