I am new to this forum so I don't know if this has been discussed. I purchased Starfleet Academy for my austistic son who is a huge Star Trek fan, He was able to get the game to play in XP but it will not save his progress. He gets very frustrated when it won't save the games and does not like to have to start over. I also have been unable to save any of the games. I highlight the empty space but after entering the text the "save game" button does not respond. If anyone has any advise or suggestions it would be graetly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey Matt, try pressing the enter key after typing something in the empty space. The Save Game button only takes you to the save game subsection of the menu and doesn't actually commit saves to disk. Only pressing enter after typing something in any one of the slots will it actually save. Hope this helps!

Ha, I would remember times back when I played the game on the hardware it was designed to be on, and the saves would delete themselves whenever they felt like. Wouldn't have been much of an issue, but it took me 3 months to beat level 8 the first time. Note to my neighbors, those rumblings you heard earlier was not an earthquake, I now have nuclear power.
