Statics only visible after reloading a save

Hello all,


after placing particular statics in the Tamriel-Worldspace (cave entrances in this case - see full list below) they aren`t loaded ingame. I`ve created a new esp and placed the entrance somewhere with a few smaller objects in tamriel with a mapmarker for fast-travel. After fast-travelling or normally walking to this location, the cave entrance wasn`t loaded (no collision, no visible object) but all smaller objects. The only solution for me so far is (quick)saving at this location and reloading it again.

This was tested on two different systems with two different saves. Has anyone the same problem or a solution?

Hi folks,

I have some additional information on this issue as it occured to me, too.

First: I tested RockCaveEntrance01 myself and it did not work. It simply did not show up ingame (neither is CrispyCrisis nor am I new to modding, so yes basic stuff of course was checked, mod is active, etc).
As CrispyCrisis wrote the only solution to this problem appears to be to walk to the Tamriel cell where the (for example) cave entrance is, to save, and reload the savegame. Then (but only then) it shows up.

I then started a new game (just for testing purposes), fast-travelled to the cave entrance again but ofc it was not there. Saving and reloading in that cell again still helped.


But there is more: I already know this bug from The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion, nearly the same bug.
In TES IV it was a normal door. When fast-travelling to the http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=28557 the first time everything showed up but not the door. Saving and reloading solved the issue. I never found a solution to this problem.

Would be fantastic if someone can help here.

I am having this same problem but in my case it's with the clan shatter shield house static.

I made an interior, then added the house static plus a door to the tamriel world space, then finally linking the doors. To test I coc into my interior from the games main menu. then i click on the door to go outside. The only thing that shows is the door itself, no house.

I havn't tried saving and reloading as it was quite late when I saw this problem and ended up saving my work then going to bed.

I am glad to know that there are others having similar problems.

The only thing I can think of is that I havnt got round to editing the navmesh for the area yet. So it is still there, going underneath where the house should be. Could this be preventing the static showing up due to the game trying to keep the navmesh area free for NPC's to walk through?

The bug (maybe) is known already. Not sure if it is this one because it says "disappearing" in that thread, whereas it here says that (large) statics are not even appearing first.
