stats for a archermage build

Help me out. For an archer, what build do you need? And since I want to go half mage, half archer, is health/magicka 50/50 a wise choice? Won't I need stamina?

Depends on which class you are going to rely on primarily. Are you going to use bows as an opener or rely on them when you are out of mana?
Sneaky type or cannon glass?
Too many possibilities.
Illusion and Archery makes good synergy. But so does Conjuration and Archery :)

As for stats, it would be safe to go 50/50 on them depending on diffuculty your playing at. But mage and archer are both ranged characters so i would lean on magicka more and ignore stamina totally.

I consider character development as spoiler, so just in case:

There are a few variations, you can use your imagination (from Conj/Archery/Sneak to Alteration/Archery/Light Armor).

Personally I went with Conjuration/Archery/Illusion.

Sneak around with Invisibility and Muffle till i'm behind ennemy lines, then i'll summon a frost atronach, re-invis, wait for every ennemy around to be attracted by the noise then I just use Mayhem (aoe frenzy), double Draemora Lord and Invis back out. From there I can either catch a popcorn, or start spraying arrows.

Its a build I found to give a lot of flexibility, as you can play it really sneaky if you want, you can full out manipulate the battlefield if you dont wanna get dirty yourself (I call it the Puppetmaster), or you can just go in bows blazing (lawl) with 2 summons already out, using illusion for AoE calm (if [censored] starts hitting you/kills your summons too fast).

I went with 200 health and rest into mana (lvl 38 atm). I get 1shot by some traps still, so I plan on getting more hp for those, but in the end I very very rarely get hit (altho thats not the case at low levels). Atm its a once-in-a-blue-moon thing, and its generally an arrow (which i can survive fine).

Stamina is good if you want to do some sniping, but personally i recommand grabbing the Slow Time shout and using that mainly. It lets you pump a lot of arrows into a target very quickly, and with archery your arrows hit like a truck. You can live without (a good 10 seconds of snipe with basic stamina), unlike mana which goes bye bye on those expert/master spells

Thanks mate! Helped me out. I will just probably go with a 50/50 build till I get considerable health(200/250) then just pump mana for spells.
