To stay a werewolf or not that is the question?

I am undecided at this point I see no real up side to changing back I know the whole well rested bonus thing but I am lvl 63 on this character so lvling is coming to an end anyways and I rarely remembered to sleep before I was a werewolf.

Since you can choose when to be a werewolf, I would say you don't need to cure yourself unless you really want to complete the quest(for whatever reason you choose) or if you're getting tired of the guards asking if fur is coming out of your ears.

If you are as far as level 63, the beast form's damage output in combat is really weak compared to your normal form's. But if you don't use resting bonuses much anyway, I see no harm in keeping it, unless for RP reasons.

Up to you. The well rested bonus won't help you too much if you're nearly done leveling and the werewolf ability is just as useless.

I think I may keep it knowing bethesda they will make a positive change to werewolves and I will have changed back and be upset and since there is no harm in keeping and my elf has done way to many misdeeds to ever dream of going to Sovngarde

As a Werewolf you can't pick up any other diseases since you have Lycantrophy already, so unless you want to be a vampire there is not much point in getting rid of it.

BAH! Get lucky and find the Amulet of Disease Immunity. 100% resistance to diseases. OR something that has lesser disease resist, disenchant and create your own. I found it, haven't been dieseased since.

THo maybe that was from a Glitch that makes the game think I'm still a werewolf even tho I did the Cure.... Maybe I rushed it too much. Can't shift, but still get the Hair in ears comment, and the "days as Werewolf count goes up....

On my first character I didn't cure it, but on my second one I'm going to. I just don't use beast form all that much. I'd rather have the rested bonus.

Oddly enough, on my first character I did get diseases even as a werewolf, which was irritating. I figured it was bugged.

What bonuses are incurred from resting?

You could use the beast form to kill someone in a town without getting a bounty, and the immunity to disease is nice.

It wasn't my bag, so I cured myself.

The only thing you can keep it for is for having fun and by that i mean backhanding random animals and running around. Werewolfs become useless pretty much after lvl 20 but you can keep it if they fix it. Theres no other use for it and hopefully they change that.

Heres a thread on it go support it if you'd like changes
