When you start the game, Doc's "house" is filled with items not marked in red. you are allowed to take them without consequence.

From a role playing point of view, I don't touch them, with one minor exception.In what i can only assume is his bedroom he, has a pre-war park stroller's outfit. I find this to be a lot better outfit to start the game off with. I am not from the vault, and while Doc explains that he was and he has no use for this outfit anymore, and I don't want look down on his charity, it just feels out of place to me. I exchange the jump suit with the pre-war outfit. Doc can keep his jump suit to remind him of where he grew up and i have some "random clothes" that fit the world my non-vault dweller lives in.

How do/did all of you leave Doc's house?

First time I walked out in the vault suit honestly. Though within 30 minutes of gameplay I had sold it and bough some leather armor instead.

This character I have been, and still am, using the armored vault 13 suit.

Consider him the Bishop from Les Miserables.

I took almost everything he had, including the pre-war books.

When I restarted the game I didn't take anything really, trying to roleplay it a bit.

i think from a roleplaying point of view there 2 things you can take theres a 9mm or 10mm not sure but an smg thats broken you can repair it if your high enough so im assuming your allowed to take that and there chem set next to the bed if your science is high enough you can make drugs or stims only one and take those

I only took the valuables. I figured he wanted me to get back on my feet, and I considered it a donation since it wasn't in red. That man just keeps on giving.

At first i didnt take anything, but before the battle with the powderpuff gangers i went in there and cleaned it out (and i even said out loud IRL to doc that i needed the money to fight the gang )
Since i helped save the town i think the doc will accept it...
