stealth based 'spider-man'

so i have to admit, the very idea of playing a stealth based magically enhanced albino spider wielder sounds like an incredible amount of fun. so far all i know of is the following list, pulled from the features thread:
Exploding Flame Spider: Ruby, Damaged Albino Spider Pod

-it appears you can have out multiple spiders at the same time, no timed duration. they follow/attack till they die.(also thank you Akaryu)
-the elemental spiders are immune to damage of their type. tested by firebolting a flame cloaked spider.

obviously the first order of business is getting prowlers profit. finally a use for the extremely huge amount of gems that effect provides.

next i just need to know the damage they deal, whether destruction perks affect them, and if using solely the spiders can be end game viable.
tested on self, 1 exploding flame spider did almost 100 damage to me with no resistances.
the base build i will use is illusion perked for silent casting/up to reduced cost as high as invisibility's spell level, and destruction for apprentice/dual casting and runemaster.

any input on the build?

mind control spiders will be your greatest friend and maybe oil spiders if you feel like starting some fires. i see you are enjoying the wondrous gift of white ridge barrow. also emeralds make poisonous spiders for mind control spiders you use soul gems either empty or filled of any class it doesnt matter so long as they are soul gems. have you started maniacly looking for salt piles yet?

1 at a time. tested with shock jumping spiders. bringing a second out fizzles the first

thats odd i can summon as many as i want and i have no magical perks at all maybe it has something to do with that i only use intact pods for jumping spiders i just hold the salt.

lol epic. just retested. yes. i currently have two flame cloaked out and two shock jumping out. bethesda, if you are reading this, this is the most epic thing i have ever done in TES (only on 360 of course)

throw it at the enemy it latches onto them and theyre your ally for 60 seconds. and yes it looks every bit as disturbing as it sounds but it gets bonus points cause the spider latches onto the exact spot where you throw it on the person.

holy crap that is the single most awesome thing i have ever heard. lol who needs command spells now? that trumps it in every imaginable way.

im thinking of trying glowing mushrooms tommorow in hopes of producing a glowing spider so i dont need to lug around torches. now if only i could make one that could carry my things.

i think it may be that it is only gems that can make imbued spiders, maybe charge of a soulgem effects mind control duration? gonna try a grand vs petty sometime.
