On a stealth character, How do you fight heavy armor opponet

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 5:14 am

On mine, I usually run down the road, turning around hitting them a few times, then running away from them again so I dont get hit. Or if im in a dungeon, I'll use my enviroment against them, Like onmetime I dropped a Dwarven Centurion Master into a watery grave by raising a bridge he was on

What do you guys do/Whats the biggest kill you have made with a stealth character?

I crouch and enter Stealth again and then one shot the next person.

Depends on the enemy. I usually stay in a dark area shooting off arrows until they die. Or fight them using 2h weapon.

Pretty sure there are not any high armor opponents in the game, they just have bloated HP values.

Concentrate on high inital damge then follow up with fast attacks combined with poisons and/or enchanted weaopons. The goal is to soften them greatly, or take them out, before closing in. I find that dual wielding helps close the gap.

I summon a frost atronach and use him as a tank as I shoot my foes with arrows or retreat and hide. My stealth character is based on the Witch hunter from Morrowind.

I use invisibility and backstab them with my dagger to get 30x damage. If they're not dead, then I simply just go invisible again, runaway until I'm hidden again and repeat. But, using the hit and run tactics with arrows also works.

I combined a high health build with a stealth character, so if I do get discovered, i can go berserker on their ass.

Calm him and run away and hide, fury him or his buddies, run away and hide, use paralysis poison or Serpent Stone power, use one word of Unrelenting Force and hit him with a weapon with lingering poison.

Pretty sure there are not any high armor opponents in the game, they just have bloated HP values.

Bandit Marauders with plate armor have few hundreds of damage resistance.

Run and hide. They forget you are there. At high level and perks maxed out, you can virtually stand in front of them and they won't notice you are there.

I dont use that shadow warrior perk, kinda ruins immersion for me, seriously, if i need to, i just use an invisibility potion, and they lose me pretty quick. but thats just me. Im a stacked orc assassin though, so im pretty hard to miss, lol. almost 7 feet tall and 300 pounds of muscle, and glass armor, ^_^

I *think* it's the last perk, or it's the nightingale special ability, but either way, I don't actually do that. :/

yep

I'm farming my sneak by running around in my brotherhood clothes, sneaking all the way. I want that perk.
and I sneak attack with a 2--handed battleaxe, is there a concept I'm missing?

The only face-to-face combat I'd be having is with bears or sabre cats.. and it's a problem for me right now because my character is still at level 18.. or 19.. First thing I'd do is run awayyy (yes, I'm a coward there.. lol), sometimes I'd use invisibility potion to hide, but right now, my solution is to conjure my dremora to fight for me (using Sanguine Rose) and currently learning to conjure flame atronach.

I pull out my duel Katana's and become a whirlwind of death . My guy is built for stealth and close combat...no fear of being discovered but sometimes I like to thin out the enemy from a distance.

Paralysis Poison.

This ^ Paralysis Poison is your best friend LOL Or I use Sanguine Rose and let my Dremora tank the enemy, while I retreat back into the shadows. Most of the time, I kill even high level enemies with my bow, before they can even detect me.
