Steam Cloud not working? : Fallout: New Vegas

It's me or the Steam Cloud is not working?
I have installed Fallout New Vegas on my second PC (desktop) and the game says there are no savegames....
The cloud is activated in the Steam client.

Steam cloud was disabled with one of the patches when they realized that it was causing save corruption. You'll have to bring your save games over the old fashioned way.

Thank you for the answer. Are they fixing this problem or they consider "Steam Cloud" a dead option for this game?
