I pre ordered New Vegas off steam and was wandering if anyone knew how much the download size is. Sorry if this thread has been posted before

they said the game needs 10 gig of hard-drive space. So erm... well, it has to fit on a DVD (unless it comes on two), so 8 gig ish? Going to be big anyhow.

The install size is supposedly 10GB and you can fit around 8GB on a DVD-DL. So around 6-7GB probably. Nobody will know for sure until the game unlocks to preload.

precisely the reason I preordered a physical copy of the game.

A DVD can hold 8 gigs, however nothing says those 8 gigs are not compressed data. Meaning it may end up being more than 8 gigs once it is installed.
