hey everybody. i just got a new beast of a pc and i have been setting everything up on it and i got my steam account and everything activiated on my new pc. i went to play brink after i have installed it and i got the error: game is unavailable at this time, please try again later". i did some searching through google and the steam tech support area, but as you all probably know steam basically has no real support or resolution procedures besides a FAQ. can anybody please tell me how to resolve this issue. i followed most of the steps from steam. i have directx 11 (and runtime web installer) all the c+ redistributables (2005 & 2008/x64 & x86, im running windows 7 64 bit), i went in and renamed the .blob so it would update steam upon restarting it. and now i have just went through and deleted all files/folders from the steam installation file (computer, c:, program files x86, steam except for the steam.exe which it said to leave. it is installing everything again including the game. im not sure why this is happening. its weird to because i have noticed that when i do searches online as well and if its like a microsoft website i get cannot display webpage screen. so that may have nothing to do with it, but im just thinking of every little detail that could be of some use to somebody if they know how to resolve this issue. i will be incredibly grateful if somebody can please help me asap. i really want to play this game on this new computer. oh yeah, and i know all my video card drivers are up to date, because yesterday i had 2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti cards installed so i can crossfire them and they updated all the drivers and everything so i know thats not the issue as well. again, please somebody help me.

A friend of mine had this, and we got him going again with the following steps. If you have not done so already, reboot your computer. Then start up Steam and go to the Library list. Right click on Brink and select Properties. Select the "Local Files" tab, and click on "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache", and just let it run. It may or may not download some files afterwards. Hopefully this will fix your game. If it doesn't, I apologize, I'm just trying to help. Good luck. :)
