So here I am chatting with my friend on steam chat and he's showing me the wonders of nyan cat.

Suddenly, pop-up. Steam has finished downloading: BRINK. I've just downloaded a 1.5 mb update for BRINK.

Yes, i've already pre-loaded yesterday, so what could this be? Anyone else have it?

This happened to me too, they probably just updated it. Not that big of a deal really.

Maybe they applied a re-encryption of the files or something to that effect.

Same. I assumed it was the pre-order code thingie.
