I got the game for Christmas. I downloaded it not knowing I was logged into my son's friend's account and now cannot play the game. If I'm lucky and Steam support actually responds to my ticket I MAY be able to resolve this and actually play the &^%$ing game I paid $60 for.
I am VERY unhappy this game uses Steam. It's a major complication, a crappy service, and completely unneeded. If this cannot be resolved I will NOT buy it again and i will no longer do business with Bethesda.

THIS S*CKS.
How is it Bethesda's fault that you didn't even take a moment to check whose account you were logged into? Seems entirely user error to me.
I'm also hating that Skyrim is linked to Steam. Got the game for Christmas, insert DVD into drive, failed a few times to connect to steam (good start), then finally get the installer going, and what is steam doing? totally ignoring the DVD and downloading it. WTF!! So, got to waste 2 hours for steam to download files that are sitting on a DVD.....
A game like Skryim does not need parasite programs like Steam.
