Hey guys and gals. Total noob here. When I launch Skyrim from steam, It dosent find SKSE. I have to load skyrim with NMM to load SKSE.

Is there a way to load SKSE with Steam? Like I said, total noob here. Ty oin advance.

Go into Steam and add the "skse_loader.exe" as a custom game. Worked for me!

You need to launch Skyrim via the SKSE loader which should be inside the main Skyrim folder where the exe is.(That's where you should have put the files from the SKSE download)

I either create a shortcut of the SKSE loader & place it on the desktop or pin it to task bar.

Oblivions OBSE worked with Steam(Launch from steam) & hopefully the steam engineers can do the same with Skyrim.

Richard, it worked like you said, but it didnt take me to the startup screen for skyrim, the one with play/options/data files/cancel screen.But it did launch Skyrim and my mods must have found SKSE. (no errors). ty for the tip.

Yep, no worries, this is normal behaviour.
