Still getting auto and quick save problems...

used that dx.dll file to fix my lag issues even after the steam auto patch i am still getting save issues. My manual saves seem to be working but the quick and auto saves seem to be reverting back to the first quick/auto saves i had, weird. other than that lil irritating everything seems all good. Had my first crash an hour ago - no biggie.

btw this is a bought hard copy NOT DL'd from steam and that other topic on lost saves did not work for me. Like i said a small inconvience only beace the limited save counter (1000 saves) makes me nervous lol

used that dx.dll file to fix my lag issues even after the steam auto patch i am still getting save issues. My manual saves seem to be working but the quick and auto saves seem to be reverting back to the first quick/auto saves i had, weird. other than that lil irritating everything seems all good. Had my first crash an hour ago - no biggie.

DXDIAG posted under spoiler. Hope this helps for future patch.


btw this is a bought hard copy NOT DL'd from steam and that other topic on lost saves did not work for me. Like i said a small inconvience only beace the limited save counter (1000 saves) makes me nervous lol

I hear it might be a Steam cloud issue, it uploades your lastest auto and quick save when you quit the game to their server and then re-downloads once you restart your game. It might be downloading the wrong one. Try disabling steam cloud or play with steam in offline mode and see what happens.
Or ignore your auto saves and do what I do and just use manual saves. You auto saves will still work during one play sessions, and honestly you shouldnt rely on them for anything else. Gamebyro has issues with their auto saves.
