In Vanilla VampireFeed only works on NPCs that are sleeping.
In the Vampire Feed Perk, under the Activation Perk Entree there is a Targets tab. GetSleeping has a value of 3.0. I don't know what that means. I thought 1 meant on and 0 meant off. Or yes/no respectively.
Any time I add Targets it breaks the perk and it stops working in game.
I'm trying to better understand what's all going on when the Vampire Feed animation and ability are working so that I can add on to it.
My goal right now is to add the ability, somehow, to allow Vampire players to Feed on NPCs who are awake and idle. But only if the Vampire is succesfully sneaking and the target is idle. Not in combat or Fleeing, etc. Although BleedingOUt or the 'crippled' state could be good candidates as well. When the Vampire feeds in this new way it will play one of the Dagger crit animations (the one where the player slashes the victims throat or a variation thereof) and also add some other effects. The idea is not to kill the target. Initially doing this will make the Vampire known and consquences, if any, would follow. I plan to eventually have Perks that help make Feeding easier. Such as causing paralysis or granting the Vampire temporary invisibility.
Any help to get me moving along with this addition would be great. thank you.
