Still No Strip

Absolute disgrace of a game.

Patch comes out and i still cant enter the strip without freezing and corrupting so cant carry the game on, 25 hours in, Fable 3 then Black Ops coming out.

Its goodbye vegas.

Call me a really devoted fan, but I love these games so much I actually look at a forced re-do as a way to do things more efficiently.

Fable 3 does looks really cool though.

Not everyone, including myself, sees it that way.

I agree with you on that half way. While I have done redo's as well when I realized I made mistakes on my build or whatever, I don't like to be forced to start over due to a software issue. If it's my fault for a redo, I can live with that... I made a bad judgment call and I will be a better, more efficient player next time. If it's because of software issues... then I feel like I was doing everything fine and now I have the burden of restarting and going through everything all over again. Even if my character was full of mistakes, I still don't want to be forced due to software issues.

I'm in the same boat. I was getting the black screen when trying to enter the strip, but I got around it by sending away Veronica and Rex.

Now I'm trapped in the Lucky 38 and get the black screen when I try going back out to the strip - and I have no companions to send away this time.

Its that one section of the strip that is broken.

I managed to get in the back side by the monorail then went through the gate to the corrupt side and froze.

EDIT: Ridiculous fix

Its the hat you have to get magic hat its the hate you kill that guy on the strip on dept collecter if you turn it in there is another at the crimson trader camp for sale you must put the hat on before you enter strip the name for it is the old cowboy hat when you wear it and enter strip it will load no black screen of crash i searched for 3 hours killed many to find it but i had the same problem the hat seems to well make the strip work.

Gotta love how quiet Bethesda is with this issue. They issue a patch that fixes some issues but not this gambreaking patch and Bethesda has not even talk to the users who ran into this bug or to tell us with they are working on fixing it. Sigh, congtrats guys on releasing the most buggiest FO game ever made.

I really feel like getting my money back, can't even play my game anymore -.-

I have a feeling they're going to ignore this bug and just tell people to get the cowboy hat.

Leaving me screwed ):

There are people stuck in casinos besides me? It seems like most people were smart enough to save back in Freeside or outside on the Strip.
