Stop SOPA & PIPA!

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 2:51 pm

I know, this thread is probably going to be taken down from the Moderators, because of "spam" or not-related to Skyrim.

But, guys, please, help us keep the Internet alive.

You all know what SOPA & PIPA is, it's censorship on the Internet.

It will be heard on January 24th, 6 more days guys.

If you live in the U.S., please email your Congress/Representative.

Plenty of Petitions as well, I DO NOT mean for this to be a Spam, but if it's passed, Facebook, Myspace, Youtube, Gaming Websites/Forums, Wikipedia, Twitter, and A LOT of other websites that contain Copyright/Piracy will be blocked...

Sorry Moderators, I know you will be taking this down, but for god sakes, help us protect the Internet.

Sorry!

As I expected, I see nothing about Bethesda helping to stop or saying anything about this. I'm not surprised. I vote no by the way.

I am not asking for Bethesda's help, but all of you guys.

And No, you mean you are against the Bills, correct?

I seriously doubt they will be able to close even half of the gaming sites/forums. But what do I know. I live in Norway so I can just go to some norwegian website to discuss sites.

Actually, surprisingly they are... they specifically said as well.

As "they", I mean our government and the Senators who support the Bill :swear:

You'll be happy to hear that there are many people on this forum concerned about SOPA and PIPA, and they've been discussing the matter http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1334164-sopa-shelved-until-consensus-is-found/

I'll give you a pass this time, but the next time you post a thread you know will be locked chances are you'll be warned for knowingly breaking the forum rules. In the future why not PM one of us and ask permission instead?
