Last night I stopped a fight between Boone, ED-E and a BOS guy in the BOS Safe House. I had Boone and ED-E on Aggressive (forgot that, duh) and took them into the BOS safehouse with me. I always left them in the entrance at the main BOS Bunker but I took them into the safehouse. ED-E didn't sound his alarm right away so I thought we were ok. Then we enter the safehouse bunker area below and he sounds his alarm. I turn around and Boone has the Power Fist on but he wasn't told to melee so I guess it was because the BOS guy wasn't armed or aiming. ED-E hadn't fired his laser either. So I get in between them and start using the companion wheel on both of them and then head up the ladder and outside. I had them wait up there while I took care of business.

I think it may have been because of a past Enclave association with one of my companions. Do you think? Or something else?

Boone is a part of the NCR; the NCR is at war with BoS.

I find that strange because Veronica is part of the BOS but i can take her to a NCR camp without problems. but maybe thats different

she is a member, but remember she didnt agree with them about alot of things. she doesnt just blindly follow orders

They were both with me when I spoke with other BOS members but it was outdoors at other sites. I take off my red beret when I go into the BOS bunkers but Boone had his on. I can't figure it out...but ED-E went off first I think.

Didn't he left NCR? He should be hostile only to Legion.

I think it is just random when you leave the "aggressive" on. I was at Camp Mccarren and had ED-E attack and Boone cover him. They did nothing to me but I had to let it play out so I could finish my conversation.

I took ED-E and Boone into the BoS Camp with no comeback. Although I think if I remember I took his NCR Armour off. ED-E is RobCo Tech so he should never do anything unless he is agressive and he will backup you and Boone.

You know what else is a funny little "bug thingy"? Call for NCR support while in the BOS bunker. absolutely nothing happens. The dude just follows you around. haha

I took Boone into the BoS Bunker in Hidden Valley on aggresive and he didn't do anything.. Is it just in the safehouse?

Yes, it was in the BOS safehouse when the BOS guy who does repair was there. Come to think of it, on an earlier visit, I had taken Boone and ED-E into the main BOS bunker for a visit to the Elder and things were ok. I stopped taking them in because ED-E would get stuck in things inside. Both Boone and ED-E are always better in the outdoors areas.

I've noticed that occasionally, your companions do get stuck indoors (especially ED-E, with his invisible, clumsy limbs).

Anyway, I haven't been in their bunkers much, but I wear my 1st Recon beret and it's not a problem. I don't wear NCR uniforms though. I haven't yet taken either ED-E or Boone into the bunker proper yet. Just left them outside in the 'landing' between the bunker/outside door and the actual BoS bunker door.
