when I first uesed rank 2 storm call the dragon was reduced to it's basic mesh, all the fancy details like spike and scales disappeared temporarily leaving a smooth skin dragon.

storm call is too context sensative imo, i have only once been without a companion surrounded by an army large enough to warrent the shout

The mechanics should have been worked out better. The lightning doesn't hit me, so why does it hit friendlies?

yeah it's pretty powerful
no more messing around trying to hit the dragon in mid air
just let the lightning take care of that and move in when it lands
