Stormcloak Quest glitch?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 2:35 am

My orc archer girl just saved some captured stormcloaks and was promptly sent to the next outpost to begin the next phase of the civil war.

However, "Reporting in!" never pops up with Galmar. He only holds onto his standard conversation topics.
I've fast traveled out and back in, and I've reloaded. Neither of which fixed the problem.

Any tips?

Most of the time you gotta report in to Ulfric/Tullius before receiving the next step. :)

I did, otherwise I wouldn't know which camp to go to. The objective is at the camp proper.

I -might- try it though, but I don't think that's the problem.

Is there a dragon nearby? I know that if there is, the option to talk to him doesn't trigger. That happened to me on my play through of that quest.

Thaaat's a good point.

What camp is it specifically? Also, is Season Unending active for you? That's been known to cause a LOT of issues if you haven't completed the Civil War before picking up that quest.

Eh, currently don't have direct access to my Xbox so I couldn't give the exact name.
And the main quest itself is finished, has been on this character for a long time. So that tidbit is not an issue.

There was a dead elder dragon oddly perched on one of the huts. It was shaking and stuff. But again, I traveled out and back in. The body was gone but Galmar still didn't give the mission.

No other thoughts? Is this save file properly screwed?

It might work out, I guess. I got far enough to get the house.
