Strid Relleisel

Strid River Hall in the Ayleid, this began as a house, gained a ruin, lost the house and has become an excavation while historians and architects attempt to discover the purpose of this singular structure. This will not be your standard ruin, kill everything in sight dungeon crawl. That's been done to death. I'm going for something a bit different here and, I hope, memorable and enjoyable.

You will be able to help the lead excavator, doing small quests for him, helping them unearth the secrets of the ruin and of course gaining rewards in the process. :D InsanitySorrow has created a script that will actually allow you to "dig" as well as being modeller extraordinaire for all the little bits and bobs I think of to breathe some life into this. DarkRider, Darkstone and Meo have also been superb at helping me realize my vision whether with altering models for me or pointing me to fantastic resources.

Strid Relleisel is located just west of the ruins of Silorn on the Strid, just outside the borders.

What is a WIP thread without some WIP screens? :P You wont see everything, I do need to keep some secrets for release. LOL

**Strid Relleisel will be a TES Alliance exclusive release when it is finished. I have received so much brilliant support and help from TESA members like IS, Stoney, Rider and Meo. I would not be half the modder I am without TESA and its fantastic community.

Where is it located, exactly? It's obviously not compatible with Valenwood Improved as-is, but I'm wondering if a patch is possible. VI adds a town not far west of Silorn, and I'm afraid this will be on/near the same spot. :(

Hey guys! Thank you! :D The ruin is located literally within sight of Silorn. LOL When I say it's just west I mean like, spitting distance. XD I wondered if there'd be any issues with VI. I haven't used it myself yet. I am hoping I'm just close enough to Silorn and the border that it wont be an issue but we'll see. Hopefully if it's needed a patch wont be too difficult.

It shouldn't conflict with VI, then, but it might conflict with Elsweyr Anequina - that mod adds a border crossing just to the SW of Silorn. It's just a bridge over the river leading to a road, though, so if there are any conflicts, it shouldn't be a big deal. Thanks for the info - I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Ah we'll cross that bridge when we come to it....oh lord I'm sorry I could NOT resist the pun. :rofl: I'm a bad monkey.

Anyway! XD Work is progressing nicely. :D I'll be starting the interior of the ruin proper tomorrow now that the cavern it sits in is almost finished. Darkstone has been doing a tremendous job of testing for me, finding problems, empty spots and making fantastic suggestions. The cavern is pretty stunning now I think. :P I'm biased I know. :lmao:

I'll see if I can't convince him to take some of his amazing screens of it tomorrow and post them here. :P He really is a screenie genius.

BTW, another potential compatibility issue could come from UL River Strid, that is a WIP as of this moment...
