I've killed the NCR ranger and elder McNamera has removed my collar. I've spoken to Hardin and collected info on "The Chain That BInds". His last request was for me to find an instance where McNamera broke chain of command. For some reason, I can't get McNamera to talk with me to give me the next part of the quest. My next objective is to meet with him in the command center, but he's stuck in the hallway. Can someone tell me what to do to proceed from here?

I'd suggest reloading a save before that and trying again.

If he's stuck try leaving the area, waiting a sec, then re-entering.
If your on PC you could try to resurrect him through console as well.

He's not even attempting to move. He's just in the hallway. He says 'I'll talk to you once I'm settled in the control room'. It's as if I I need to prompt him to go there somehow.



Not an option. I've done a whole lot since then.

The same thing happened to me with the boy Boomer that teaches you of Nellis. What happened was he started telling the story then he stopped after he said the first part. Then I just walked out and did another task came back and it was all better.

FIxed it. Used console to disable and enable NPC. That set him back on track.
