This is about the quest 'A Night to Remember' that begins with Sam Guenvere's drunken contest in Whiterun tavern. I stumbled through the quest into Morvundskr where saw a puddle which I thought was the holy water needed to restore the staff, according to the note. A portal appeared over it which transported me into the land of qaqa.

There was Sam, who told me that I have more than earned the staff. The only dialogue option was 'I have all the stuff needed to repair the staff' even though I never got the holy water. His response to this was 'Oh, the hagraven feather and so on. You can throw all that out. You see...' and then he disappears with a magic effect, stranding me in Misty Grove forever.

Is there something further I'm supposed to do here? I think he is trying to transport me to another area to reveal what he really is. I tried to console click his head and use the reference to player.moveto, but it simply goes to the spot where he was standing. The script disables Sam and now there is no way out and my player is stuck with these eight commoners eating at a table.

Does anyone know any console / setstage magic to advance the quest and place me in the correct cell?
