I am having trouble getting back on the strip after helping the boomers. I am now idolized and have got pearl to pledge her help. When I try to get back on the strip the robot guards leave me alone but I can't get in because it says 'key required' could somebody please tell me where I can obtain this key. Thank you very much.

i think you have the wrong place.

there is no key door to the strip.

either the main entrance or the mono rail to get in.

No, its a known bug. The wiki says how to get around it.
